30 terrorists killed as Pakistan foils major border infiltration attempt

Pakistan, July 4 -- In a major success for Pakistan's security forces, 30 Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed while attempting to infiltrate from the Afghanistan border. The infiltration bid took place in the general area of Hassan Khel, North Waziristan, during the nights of July 1st and 2nd. According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), troops responded with precise and professional action, effectively eliminating all infiltrators.

Furthermore, a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from the slain terrorists. ISPR highlighted that the terrorists' movement was being monitored beforehand, allowing for a swift and calculated response. This proactive engagement not only neutralized a serious threat but also prevented what could have been a catastrophic incident.

The military's statement also urged the Interim Afghan Government to take concrete steps in preventing the use of Afghan soil by foreign-backed proxies for terror activities. Pakistan reiterated its stance that it will not tolerate the presence of such elements near its borders. The ISPR reaffirmed the armed forces' commitment to defend every inch of Pakistan's territory and root out terrorism in all forms.

President Asif Ali Zardari also applauded the security forces for their remarkable performance. He emphasized the government's firm resolve to eliminate all threats, particularly the so-called Fitna al-Khawarij terrorist network. Zardari stated that anti-terror operations would continue until peace is fully restored across the country.

Similarly, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi lauded the troops for this successful mission. He referred to the terrorists as part of the Fitna al-Hindustan network and said they met a deserving end. Naqvi added that neither the terrorists nor their supporters would be spared, no matter the cost.

The Interior Minister praised the courage and professionalism of the soldiers involved and said the entire nation stands united behind them. He noted that the bravery shown during this mission reflects the strength and determination of Pakistan's security forces to protect the nation from all threats, both internal and external.
